Carrie Fisher was an American actress, novelist, and screenwriter. She became a cultural icon for her role as “Princess Leia” in the original Star Wars Trilogy. She voiced the character “Angela” from Seth MacFarlane’s animated television series, Family Guy. Carrie Fisher suffered a massive heart attack on December 23, 2016, while traveling from London to Los Angeles, California. She received CPR and was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital in critical condition. She died on December 27, 2016, at the age of 60. Her reported cause of death was sleep apnea. Fisher had a history of cocaine and prescription drug addiction. She also suffered from bipolar disorder.
